Presidential Candidate Donald Trump Chooses J.D. Vance as his Running Mate

Grand Prairie, TX - July 15, 2024 - (The Ponder News) -- On Monday, during the first day of the Republican National Convention (RNC), U.S. Senator J.D. Vance secured the nomination for vice presidential candidate to run on the ticket with presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) released the following statement celebrating President Trump’s selection of U.S. Senator JD Vance as his running mate.

“Senator JD Vance is a champion for conservative values and I am proud to have partnered with him on multiple critical issues in Congress,” said Rep Hern. “JD has been integral to the bicameral work of the Republican Study Committee and was one of the first Senators to join RSC’s bicameral efforts last year.
