Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, Food Stamp Theft

On Thursday, November 17th, U.S. Representative Chip Roy (R-TX, 21st) nominated U.S. Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ, 5th) to be Speaker of the House.

U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA, 12th) has decided to step down from leadership. U.S. Representative Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD, 2nd) issued a statement about it on Thursday.

On Friday, November 18th, Ruppersberger introduced legislation to reimburse victims of food stamp theft.
