American Action Network Releases Highlight Reel Showcasing Results Of Pro-Growth Tax Reform

By American Action Network

Washington, D.C. - January 8, 2017 - (The Ponder News) -- American Action Network (@AAN) has released a digital reel highlighting the early results families are seeing thanks to pro-growth tax reform becoming law. The video promotes the positive effects workers are already experiencing, like bonuses and wage raises, following the December enactment of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The video will be backed by six figures and will run on digital platforms.

“In less than a month, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has already shown that pro-growth tax reform is a win for America’s middle class,” said Corry Bliss, Executive Director of American Action Network. “Pro-growth tax reform will lead to higher wages, more jobs, and a tax cut of $2,000 for middle-class families. In the months ahead, AAN will tout the benefits of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as hardworking families and individuals are able to keep more of their money.”

AAN was the leading outside group advocating for the House passage of tax reform legislation, spending over $26 million since August, advertising on television, radio, digital, direct mail, and mobile billboards in over 60 congressional districts nationwide. Over the next several months, AAN is committed to spending $10 million spread the message of what meaningful, pro-growth tax reform means for working families across the country.

American Action Network Statement on House Budget Resolution

Source: American Action Network

American Action Network (@AAN) Executive Director Corry Bliss released the following statement upon passage of H. Con. Res. 71, the House Republican FY 2018 budget resolution:

“Today, conservatives took a crucial step in the process of delivering tax reform that will lower rates for working families and job creators. House conservatives passed a budget resolution that not only restores fiscal responsibility in Washington but most notably, it paves the way for pro-growth tax reform. This is exactly the kind of leadership that is needed to ensure middle-class families see a simpler, fairer tax code with lower rates. Congress must keep pushing forward, working families across this country deserve relief.”

In August, American Action Network launched the Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI), a special project to advocate for the passage of meaningful tax reform legislation. The multi-pronged campaign, now totaling $10 million, has included advertising on television, radio, direct mail and mobile billboards across over 40 congressional districts nationwide.

Over Twenty Leading Conservative Organizations Urge Congress to Pass Pro-Growth Tax Reform in Open Letter

Source: American Action Network

Washington, D.C. - September 6, 2017 (The Ponder News) -- As Congress returns from August recess, American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) is pleased to lead a coalition of over 20 state and national conservative organizations calling on the U.S. House of Representatives to seize the opportunity to deliver transformative tax reform. In an open letter, the MCGI-led coalition highlighted the failures of America’s tax code and urged every member of the U.S. House to make the tax code simpler, fairer, and with lower rates to help revitalize America’s middle class.

A personalized letter will be hand-delivered to every House member’s office in Washington. The coalition letter marks the first of several open letters released as part of AAN’s ongoing efforts on tax reform.

“Now that Congress is back, it’s time to get to work and deliver transformational tax reform that will cut taxes on the middle class, raise wages, and allow U.S. job creators to compete,” said AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss. “After seeing years of stagnant wages, jobs lost to places like China, and slow economic growth, American families have had enough of our broken tax code. With this letter, we’re showing members of Congress that conservatives are united and will stand with them as they work to pass meaningful reforms that American job creators and middle-class families need.”

The full letter, sent to every member of the House of Representatives, can be read here. List of signatories:

American Action Network Launches Mail Campaign for Tax Reform

by the American Action Network

Washington, D.C. - August 31, 2017 (The Ponder News) -- Amidst President Donald Trump and congressional leaders crisscrossing the country to make the case for tax reform, American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) announced a mail campaign in 34 congressional districts nationwide reaching one million Americans. The ad highlights America’s broken tax code and urges constituents to call their member of Congress to pass a simpler and fairer tax code with lower rates. View the list of districts targeted here.

“Thousands of good-paying jobs are fleeing to countries like China, the status quo is failing, and it is leaving America’s middle class behind,” said AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss. “Americans are ready to see meaningful, pro-growth tax reform become a reality. That’s why we are urging people across the country to call their member of Congress to pass reforms that will help create more jobs and raise wages here at home.”

In addition to this latest campaign, AAN’s MCGI is running television, digital and radio advertising in congressional districts nationwide to further momentum and ensure Congress prioritizes reforms that put America’s middle class and small businesses first.
